“I started working with KEL Learning in ninth grade and my dream was to go to a distinguished university; however I had limited guidance from my guidance counselors at my public school. My KEL coach advised me throughout high school, throughout my application process, and even helped me obtain a full ride to Duke University this coming fall. My coach was always available, helpful, and extremely professional. KEL Learning has the resources, experience, and connections that you need. Don’t waste time, and don’t stress out. Give KEL Learning a call. You will be glad you did!”

“Desde los días en que (mi hija) era nueva en la escuela, al último año de (mi hijo), he sido testigo del valor que agregaste al estar junto a mis hijos. Los consejos … fueron importantes, pero lo más imperativo fue el valor sobre el cual luchaste para que cada uno de ellos fueran tratados con dignidad y consciencia… cuando no sabían qué hacer, tenían la certeza que, ‘a Mrs Raines, si, le importa.’ Sos una persona excepcional y dedicada.”

Head of School
“I have known Kelly for over 11 years and had the pleasure to work with her for 5 years at a former school. Kelly is a dedicated professional, highly intelligent, focused, organized, incredible in the classroom, and understands teaching and learning like few I have seen in my career. Those are all excellent reasons to recommend her for any position in education but there is a more important quality that she holds deep within her that is critical to classroom leadership, teacher leadership, and educational leadership...love of learning.
As a teacher, principal, and current Head of School, I have seen a lot of bad teachers, ok teachers, good teachers and even some great teachers and the only difference in them is the degree to which they love learning. Kelly is great … in teacher leadership because she truly believes that learning is the key to moving forward for every student, teacher, and leader. Watching her in the classroom was a thing of beauty but watching her outside the classroom was even more of a wonder.
I could fill this …with multiple examples of Kelly's love of learning like the fact that she speaks multiple languages, has had discussions with me arguing the finer points of culture and identity, politics, education, psychology, law, and so many other topics where she is not just talking, but actually using what she has learned to enrich the discussion. She is rare in education and comes highly recommended by me and I am sure many other much more respected and qualified educational leaders.”
